Plagiarism Policy
Plagiarism Screening Policy
JCOD: Journal of Community Outreach and Development maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy against academic dishonesty, plagiarism, duplicate submission, and text recycling. All manuscripts undergo mandatory automated plagiarism screening prior to peer review.
Plagiarism Detection Procedure
Mandatory Desk Screening via Turnitin
Every manuscript submitted to JCOD is screened using Turnitin anti-plagiarism software during initial desk evaluation. Manuscripts must be checked prior to being forwarded to Section Editors or assigned to independent peer reviewers.
The overall Turnitin similarity index must be below 25%, and similarity from any single published source must not exceed 3%.
Forms of Academic Misconduct

Reusing substantial portions of the author's own previously published work (including conference proceedings, book chapters, or prior articles) without appropriate attribution or permission.
